Job Overview Training Advantage Group Ltd is seeking experienced Freelance FLT, MHE & Plant Instructors/Assessors to support training delivery across Scotland and the wider UK. The role involves delivering accredited and in-house operator training, refresher training, testing, and workplace assessments for a range of industrial, warehouse, logistics, and construction customers. Applicants with NPORS accreditation are preferred; however, instructors holding recognised accredited qualifications from other awarding bodies will also be considered. This is a flexible freelance/self-employed role with opportunities for regular weekday and weekend work. Accredited FLT or plant instructor qualification
NPORS accreditation preferred
RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT, LANTRA, CPCS, or equivalent accepted

Professional communication skills
Ability to work independently
Good organisational and paperwork skills
Experience completing assessment documentation
Flexible approach to travel and working hours
Full UK driving licence

The role involves generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with commercial and public-sector customers, and promoting our range of accredited transport, logistics, industrial, health & safety, and compliance training services. This is a self-employed freelance opportunity ideal for experienced B2B sales professionals, recruitment consultants, transport professionals, or individuals with existing industry contacts. Main Duties Generate new business leads and customer enquiries Promote training services to companies and organisations Develop relationships with haulage, logistics, warehouse, industrial, and public-sector clients Follow up quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings Attend networking events, trade shows, and business meetings where required Maintain regular communication with prospective and existing customers Work alongside management to identify growth opportunities Assist with customer retention and account management Record and report sales activity and pipeline updates Represent the company professionally at all times
